Does it actually taste like real chocolate?

Yes - because it is real chocolate. We use premium cacao, cacao butter and organic dates to make rich, smooth chocolate that tastes indulgently naughty - because better-for-you chocolate should still taste like chocolate.

Why sweeten chocolate with dates?

Because dates bring more than sweetness. Our organic date sugar is made from whole, solar dried dates that are ground into a powder - so it retains naturally occurring fiber, minerals and antioxidants from the fruit. And unlike refined sugar, dates bring their own rich, caramel-like flavour that pairs beautifully with cacao.

Is this like typical sugar-free chocolate?

Nope - and that's kind of the point. We don't use sugar alcohols like erythritol, or alternative sweeteners like allulose, stevia or monk fruit. Our sweetness comes from organic dates.

No refined sugar. No sugar alcohols. No weird aftertaste. Just really good chocolate.

Why dates instead of stevia or monk fruit?

Because we wanted chocolate sweetened with food, not high-intensity lab-processed sweeteners. Our organic date sugar is made from whole, solar dried dates, bringing the fruit's naturally occurring fiber and nutrients along with its sweetness.

And just as importantly? Dates taste really good with chocolate. They add a subtle caramel-like richness without relying on stevia, monk fruit or sugar alcohols.
