Our Story...

Your tummy ever feel weird after eating "No Sugar" treats?  Ever feel full of energy and then suddenly need a nap after eating a sugary treat?  Yup, been there too.  Then I saw my kids go kookoo after giving them candy as a way to start the weekend on Fridays after school.  Let's just say with all the raucous disastrous "fun" they were having, my weekend ended before it even started.  There had to be a better way. 

I recalled my mom making pudding like desserts using dates - letting them simmer in the milk to release their natural sweetness.  I had an ah-ha moment!  What if our favourite dessert (i.e. chocolate) could be sweetened by just dates?  I tried and I tried, and I tried some more.  Then I found it!  The chocolate that I'm making available to you here is worth every second of my year long journey creating it.  

Because let's be honest, your dessert ought to work for you, not against you.  Dates are a fiber-rich, antioxidant packed, vitamin and mineral powerhouse.  Every calorie is a calorie that's working in your interest, for your health.
